How a plan comes together

Four steps, every time

  1. 01

    Listen

A thorough conversation about your health, history and daily life. Tongue and pulse diagnosis add detail no lab test can.

  2. 02

    Understand the pattern

We identify the underlying imbalance driving your symptoms — and explain it in plain language so you know what we're treating and why.

  3. 03

    Treat

Acupuncture, with cupping, gua sha, moxibustion or herbs as needed. Each session is adjusted to how your body is responding.

  4. 04

    Support between visits

Simple, realistic guidance on food, rest and movement — the part of the plan that makes results last.

Philosophy

Balance is circulation

When movement is free, we can feel connected — grounded in the body and present in our lives. When movement becomes constrained, we may feel discomfort, depletion or disconnection. Holistic healing begins by listening for the pattern beneath those signals.

Healing is the process of restoring connection, so energy and vitality can circulate again.

What we believe

Health is understood through relationships

Traditional Chinese medicine looks beyond an isolated symptom to the pattern connecting the whole person. It considers the movement of Qi and Blood, the relationship between organ systems, and the ways the body responds to emotion, environment, nourishment, rest and change.

We treat the body as a whole — supporting balance between Yin and Yang and the smooth flow of Qi. When Qi moves harmoniously, the entire system can nourish, regulate and respond.

Two traditions

Different maps. A shared attention to movement.

VYANA belongs to the Sanskrit tradition. Qi belongs to Chinese medicine. They are distinct concepts, but both traditions ask us to notice how vital movement connects the whole person. Chinese medicine describes Qi and Blood circulating through a network of channels that link the body's functions.

We take the classics seriously — and we read the research. Chinese Medicine works alongside your doctor, your physical therapist and your labs, not instead of them. We'll tell you when we think something else is the better first step.

We also believe care should feel like care. Visits are never rushed. The room is quiet and warm. You'll always know what's happening and why.
